From wejebored on 02/24/03:

hey. you probably would not like to answer this publically, but just out of curiosity, would you be able to provide us fans with the particular names of the brands of make up you use on stage and off. I really liked that purple eye stuff you wore a lot in your ACSS days. Also, in the Mech. An. era, what did you use in your hair to have that messy feathered look? Was it a hair dresser? Will the "diva" let the "peons" know his beauty secrets? Or is that exactly how they will stay...secrets?

Answered by MM on 02/24/03:

I will say that the best make-up artist anyone can have is themselves. I approach my body like a coloring book and use the crayons I can find to fill in the sky.

i'm sitting across from the grey daisy stairing at the face in the centre waiting for the xanex to kick in. all i want is piece of mind but doubt that exists at the moment. you appear to counsel us with what i must say is honest advise- which is more than we seem to get from the ones we are closest too. what do you do when you are caught between a rock and a hard place?

Answered by MM on 02/24/03:

The grey daisy grew from the cracks between those hard places and the rocks crumbled away. Write about it. Read it in a week. See how you feel then.

Is the Manson Mouse the Cover of the Album?

Answered by MM on 02/24/03:

We won't really know until we get there. If I had a way to make 1,000 different covers I would. One thing I can say, is that there are so many images I will share with you, that this glimpse is just the tip of the EYESberg! Be very quiet...one could cause an avalanche.

In regards to the photo series of you standing in front of the giant Helnwein/Mickey prints, why does the contrast of the light increase (or decrease) with each shot? Was that intentional, or was the lamp still warming up? Also, that one picture in your Journal a few weeks back with the red lipstick....Was that done in the same manner as the Mickey Mouse photos, but using a different color pallete? Sorry to be so nosey, I go to art school. We get graded on how nosey we are to other people's art. - Ryan

Answered by MM on 02/24/03:

The documentary photos of me in front of the black and white "rodent" images were taken by Gottfried. The images that those two "characters" come from are NOT what I would call a "photo series." They are all different mixed media works and just because they look "realistic" doesn't always mean that a camera created them. Many roads from the mind to the canvas. Who has the map? That is the real question.
