HOLY GROTESQUE: The origins of the songs of The Golden Age of Grotesque, or a few holywood questions still left unanswered that the fans deserve to know.
Before Holywood came out you stated a few things relating to it.
1) That the book would be out soon (are you finished with it, is it only a concept of the past never fully activated like the movie that was to accompanie the book and album.
2) You said one of your influences for the album was your "association" with the spiritual organization the O.T.O. Are you still "associated" with it, if so in what way, or is it none of our business because it is your own personal spiritual path, not to be worried about with or by fans.
3) You had stated that the band had written over 100 songs for Hollywood. Where are those songs now? I am assuming some of the songs ended up as b-sides for the Holywood singles. But the rest? Did they get thrown away or are they on this album (i.e.: this album is made up of Holywood songs that werent Holywood enough, or were not fully developed yet). Will they pop up later on anywhere. In general, where did they go?
4) Many times certain themed religions and drugs are sort of inderectly asssigned or discussed within the albums. Are there any new drugs you experimented with during the making of this album? Are there any new religous aspects you studied during the making of this album, Or any religious themes that fit in with the album.
5) You stated that the Columbine Shooting and the JFK Assasination were also influences on Holywood. Will the World Trade Center tragedy that happened on September 11th of 2001 be of any influence on this album.
I belive this posting is fairly relevent and the fans deserve to know these things or at least get a response to this somehow, especially to know what has happened to the missing holywood songs and book.
Thank you Manson for your time, and i hope to see you guys during this next tour.
Always
