I know that I write to you all the time and you might be thinking that I don't have anything better to do with my life. Well, I don't really, but anyways, why I'm really writing.... I had a great moment of sanity and I have an interseting idea for you.Why don't you make a line of clothing? I don't just mean clothes with you and the band on it, but your own clothing line, your own ideas?

Answered by MM on 03/13/03:

I suppose that I like them to be one-of-a-kind. I could consider taking the aesthetic into a broader format?

Do you still practice corsetry?

Answered by MM on 03/13/03:

I don't "practice" anything. I do like and wear corsets, but I am getting more accomplished in the shapes than ever before.

Edward G. Robinson is one of my favorites. I was curious as to if you enjoy any of his roles, and if you have a favorite? Also I came across this quote and thought you might find it interesting... Every one of us bears within him the possibility of all passions, all destinies of life in all it's manifold forms. Nothing human is foreign to us. - Edward G. Robinson Basically what I got out of that is that a true thespian shouldn't put masks on to play parts, he/she should take them off. I just wish every actor would put as much pride into their work as he did. Whether or not you read this post or reply to it, I want to tell you that you have a fan for life in me.

Answered by MM on 03/13/03:

I agree that acting is art if the actor loves his role.

HOLY GROTESQUE: The origins of the songs of The Golden Age of Grotesque, or a few holywood questions still left unanswered that the fans deserve to know. Before Holywood came out you stated a few things relating to it. 1) That the book would be out soon (are you finished with it, is it only a concept of the past never fully activated like the movie that was to accompanie the book and album. 2) You said one of your influences for the album was your "association" with the spiritual organization the O.T.O. Are you still "associated" with it, if so in what way, or is it none of our business because it is your own personal spiritual path, not to be worried about with or by fans. 3) You had stated that the band had written over 100 songs for Hollywood. Where are those songs now? I am assuming some of the songs ended up as b-sides for the Holywood singles. But the rest? Did they get thrown away or are they on this album (i.e.: this album is made up of Holywood songs that werent Holywood enough, or were not fully developed yet). Will they pop up later on anywhere. In general, where did they go? 4) Many times certain themed religions and drugs are sort of inderectly asssigned or discussed within the albums. Are there any new drugs you experimented with during the making of this album? Are there any new religous aspects you studied during the making of this album, Or any religious themes that fit in with the album. 5) You stated that the Columbine Shooting and the JFK Assasination were also influences on Holywood. Will the World Trade Center tragedy that happened on September 11th of 2001 be of any influence on this album. I belive this posting is fairly relevent and the fans deserve to know these things or at least get a response to this somehow, especially to know what has happened to the missing holywood songs and book. Thank you Manson for your time, and i hope to see you guys during this next tour. Always The Shape

1) The book has been written for over 3 years, but the censorship of certain ideas, ideals and opinions has kept me from releasing it to the public. I'm sorry I can't say more, but there is a religious objection to its release because the story's inspiration was not only my own life (the three albums included) but also some "private" documents I discovered. This is a deep and dark road, and I haven't found the off-ramp. 2) No comment. 3) Holywood and the songs remain in that era. This record is only new ideas. I did, however, find "Mommy Dear." Since it is so special to me...you will finally get to hear all of it. For now, I think we should wait a few weeks when all will be answered with the work itself. Thanks.
