Manson on cover of Rolling Stone Russia
In support of Manson's Against All Gods 2005 tour, Manson interviewed with Rolling Stone Magazine (Russia) before his sold-out St. Petersburg and Moscow shows.
It is difficult to find Marilyn Manson's house. It appears, that the driver has passed it several times.
At Manson's front door I am met by a servant -- a sedate red lady speaking with a British accent. With the representation of a person with royal blood, she says: " Mr. Manson has been expecting you ".
The owner meets me in twilight of a drawing room, having come off from viewing of " Scarlet empress " - Joseph Von Sternberg's black-and-white melodrama with Marlene Dietrich in a role of Russian empress Ekaterina Velikoj.
Manson is always half-hidden with old-fashioned smoky glasses, a trace of cosmetics, and a black German cap with military flaunts. But after a confident handshake, Marilyn Manson - the powerful music artist, dissipates to reveal the presence of a far more intelligent being.
